General pricing is as follows:

Clean, Oil & Adjust
 

Recommended for every 1-2 years

 

-Flutes: $325

-Piccolos: $250

-Harmony Flutes: $350

 

Includes complete disassembly and cleaning of entire mechanism (body, keys, steels, pads, etc.); hand polishing of body and head joint; replacement of all oils with fresh (left hand, right hand, trills, pivots, thumb, Gs (when applicable), G#, C# trill (when applicable), and foot joint; adjustment of all pads as necessary to ensure proper seating.

*Please note that I generally do not perform COAs on student flutes but can upon client request.

 

Turnaround for a COA is approximately 3-7 days unless otherwise specified.

 

Clean, Oil & Adjust is guaranteed for sixty (60) calendar days.

Overhaul

Recommended for every 10-15 years

 

-Intermediate/Professional: $1190 (price dependent upon type of pads and any additional work required)

-Student: $660

-Piccolos: $880

-Harmony Flutes: $1280

-Additional labor costs at $90/hour*

 

Includes complete disassembly and cleaning of entire mechanism (body, keys, steels); hand polishing of body, head joint, and keys; complete new set of pads (type dependent on instrument and client preference); replacement of all oils with fresh (left hand, right hand, trills, pivots, thumb, Gs (when applicable), G#, C# trill (when applicable), and foot joint; new adjustment felts/corks/kickers; limited mechanical work (knocking of posts, spring adjustment, etc.).

*Generally, flutes do not require a lot of mechanical work; however, in rare cases, especially on older flutes, additional time must be spent in order to make a mechanism feel and function like new.

 

Turnaround for an overhaul is approximately 10-20 days.

 

Pad work and adjustments are on warranty for one (1) full calendar year provided instrument is not seen by another technician or damaged due to client negligence.

Additional Costs
 

-New head joint cork: $15
-High E facilitator: $40

-Pad repair (when possible): $20
-Pad replace: $15-$35 (dependent upon type of pad)
-Replacement French bushings: $25 for set of 5 (Yamaha 500 series and up $60)
